Weight Loss - Do Those Ab Machines Help With Fat Loss?

Here is the short answer, yes. But before you get that credit card out with hopes of a six pack, read on. I say these work, because in a sense, they do. But not in the way you are probably thinking. You see to achieve fat loss, you must incorporate short, burst like workouts more commonly referred as complex/interval training. Complexes usually consist of 4-6 exercises performed in succession with a short break between each set. Now, if you were to perform a full body complex consisting of lower body, chest, shoulders, back and abs. Then this would be an opportune time to utilize one of the ab burner, bun buster, tummy tucker gizmos.

Rather than think of these implements as the cornerstone of your fat loss program, think of them more like a tool in your tool box. These gizmos will work when used in conjunction with a sound exercise and nutrition program. As a stand alone workout, you would be hard pressed to make much progress, get depressed, and move on to the next gimick these gizmos just don't burn enough calories, period. However when used as a part of a complete fat loss program, they can be useful.

Incorporating the ab-tastic gizmos in your workout will not only make your gym time a bit more interesting, it will take the monotony out of your workouts. So, there you have it. Yes, these ab gizmos will work. And on a final note, next time you see one of these infomercials, pay close attention to the fine print at the bottom, they all say the same thing. "Results vary, best results achieved when used part of a sound diet and exercise program" or something similar...There's gold in that there statement.

Well, that's it for today...Take Care!

Yours in Health,

Chris
